Our Set of Cards

It’s not suppose to end up like this, a journey with no destination.
Yet I kept walking… and walking on a road aimlessly wishing for it to come to an end. Wishing that I would end in a paradise of a happy ending, but forseeing that it may be just too good to just remain just as a dream. What hurts the most, was being so close, yet so far. Looking into your eyes, looking into your dreams, trying to guess the possibility if it would ever comes true. Just like dealing with a set of cards, betting on the game.

How long more would my journey be, I do not know. Yet a smile could always crack from the corner of my lips without fail…

    For every journey, there has to be a destination. The question is… is that the destination where you want to go? And should you continue with the journey if the destination is not where you want to be?

    If i don’t enjoy the journey, I guess i wouldnt be in the journey at all.. :)

    and it is pretty subjective regarding “destination”.. do u think it will change as time passes?

    Hmm… This reminds me of a quote I recently read…

    Focus on the journey, not the destination. Joy is found not in finishing an activity but in doing it….

    Just an advise as a stranger. Always start a journey with a destination in mind. Wandering aimlessly in a journey is meaningless in the end. You might enjoy the moment, but it will not be fruitful. Cheers.
